Based on Research by Dr. Tatiana Andreeva, Dr. Jordi Trullen, Jim Copeland & ALI Labs
Dr. Tatiana Andreeva is Associate Professor in Management and Organizational Behavior at the School of Business, Maynooth University, Ireland. Her research focuses on the challenges of managing knowledge in organizations and the effects of the shift to hybrid work. For example, Tatiana seeks to understand why people share or hide knowledge, and what (line) managers can do to facilitate (or prevent) these behaviors – in general, and in hybrid workplaces in particular. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Andreeva worked in management consulting and HR.
Dr. Jordi Trullen is an Associate Professor and Chair in the Department of People Management and Organization at ESADE Business School, Ramon Llull University, Spain.
His research focuses on the area of HRM implementation by investigating the role played by different actors (HR professionals, line managers, or senior leaders) in the adoption of HRM policies and practices and the main roadblocks and challenges they face. Jordi’s research also looks at the role of national culture and institutions in HRM adoption.
Jim Copeland has over a decade of experience in the banking and financial service sector in Ireland. He is currently an Operations Manager and Business Continuity Co-Ordinator in the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA). As part of his Business Continuity role, Jim was directly involved in NAMAs shift to remote working during the Covid-19 Pandemic, and the transition to hybrid work thereafter. Jim recently completed an MSc in Strategy & Innovation in Maynooth University. In his research dissertation, Jim focused on the role of line managers in hybrid working environments and the challenges they face in this new world of work.
