Separating signal from noise - Understanding the measurements and information that will move an Agile organization forward and what Won't
More than ever, organizations are looking to "transform" their metrics. And as agilists, we've told them time and time again that tracking measures like velocity, budget vs. actual, and estimation accuracy are bad indicators of success for an agile organization. But if not, what is?

With the abundance of information organizations have, deciphering what to pay attention to can be a challenge. In this talk, Patricia Kong, will walk through how the Evidence-Based Management (EBM) framework can help organizations focus on value and valuable measurement. She'll also share from her experiences how organizations can separate distractions and noise from evidence, so that they can realign measurement around value. This requires of course, challenging assumptions that are widely held by many people in the organization.
