Agility at Scale: How to expand agile methodologies to the whole enterprise

ABSTRACT:
Scrum has been up and running for 25 years! Also Kanban teams, and a wide variety of agile teams successfully populate the industry. We did a terrific job breaking down silos and increasing value delivery for some products, projects, services with a few hundred employees.
Now that we are moving one step ahead, what about business agility?
We are in dire need of introducing agility across complete organizations, so that thousands of employees can jump onto the agility bandwagon.
Can we conjure up the perfect scaling framework together?
Almudena Rodríguez Pardo, Business Agility Consultant, will give us a rough overview of the various existing methods for agility at scale. Furthermore, we will go through some of the most common pitfalls and challenges when scaling agility. Last but not least, Almudena will present some guidelines we should take into consideration when expanding agility in organizations with a large number of employees.

Almudena Rodriguez Pardo, born in Bilbao (Spain), studied computer science at RWTH University Aachen (Germany) and started working for Ericsson in 1995. In the 22 years involved in the telecommunication sector, she achieved a strong technical background as a developer, quality coordinator and technical market support engineer in different organizations within Ericsson. Moreover, Almudena was strongly involved in the Agile transformation and DevOps deployment at Ericsson, and worked as an Agile and DevOps consultant for Ericsson customers.
She is a well-known public speaker with international reputation at Agile and DevOps conferences, where she has been invited to Agile Tour London, Scan Agile Helsinki, Agile Practitioners Tel Aviv, Agile Conference Austria, Agile Serbia Conference, etc… As an acknowledged expert, Almudena participates at the Hustef Budapest, UCAAT Paris and ExoQA Madrid as invited Keynote.
