UPDATE: We've just added Plectica (www.plectica.com) as a sponsor for food and beverages! See details about this excellent visual mapping tool below.

Join us October 21 for a hands-on workshop facilitated by Kristina Damschen Spina (and her colleagues) at Indow®. This one-of-a-kind workshop will employ a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) model (traditionally used in fitness) to solve marketing and team problems.

6:30 pm - Workshop

Attendees will work within small teams to deconstruct issues in short, productive “bursts” (10-15 minute intervals) using techniques provided by Kristina and her colleagues.

TOPICS WILL INCLUDE:
• Sprints
• Root Cause Analysis – The “5 Whys”
• Visual Process Flows
• 5s Lean Methodology
• Retrospectives

At the end, we will hold a discussion of additional ideas and techniques you can take back to your own marketing teams or clients. See links at the end of this post for more info on the topics above.

PLEASE TAKE THIS SHORT SURVEY (if you haven't already): http://bit.ly/2oE7XRs

This will allow Kristina to tailor the workshop to attendees’ experiences with Agile.

If you are new to Agile, please come anyway! Most marketing teams haven’t yet gone Agile, so you’ll be in good company. The concepts we discuss will be useful for everyone. 😁

Kristina has seven years’ experience working in lean operations and has used an Agile framework for her marketing team’s work for more than two years. She also has 15+ years of professional project and event management experience in a variety of industries.

We’re excited to learn from Kristina and the Indow team because their marketing work is closely aligned with Indow’s Lean approach to manufacturing. You’ll get lots of real-world insights from people practicing Agile every day!

Started in 2010, Indow [https://indowwindows.com/] makes window inserts to bring comfort and quiet to homes as an alternative to window replacement, lowering C02 emissions and protecting our built environment.

Food and beverages are sponsored by Plectica, which is a visual tool you can use to map workflow, clarify your thinking, communicate complex ideas, and collaborate with your team. Kristina will share how her team uses it. See examples of how Pletica can be used for a task board, website user flow, marketing inspiration board and more here: https://www.plectica.com/examples. The company offers a “free forever” basic account so you can try it now!

TRANSPORTATION DETAILS:

Indow is just a block from the Albina/Mississippi MAX Station.
If you're driving, Indow has a parking lot you may use.
