Prerequisites of an Agile Mindset | #2

We are proud to present our new meetup series ‘The Pre-Requisites of an Agile Mindset’. In this series, once a month we want to focus on ourselves, how we have to show up to support and foster an agile environment beyond the agile manifesto or any particular framework.
In part 2 we continue by taking a closer look at your demeanor when interacting with others - ‘Can people trust you?’, ‘Do you treat others like you want to be treated?’ & ’Are you fully present in the moment or somehow distracted?’.

Agile was developed around the idea of enabling individuals to be as best as they can … or want to be. One most sought after aspect in that realm is to tailor processes according to the needs of the people using them. Though, an even bigger portion of attention should be given to avoiding distractions … and I am not talking about people entering/leaving an ongoing meeting or a squirrel dancing outside the window. It’s about how much of your conscious and unconscious attention is actually devoted to the topic at hand and how diminished attention affects your fellow peers.
