Prerequisites of an Agile Mindset | #3

We are proud to present our new meetup series ‘The Pre-Requisites of an Agile Mindset’. In this series, once a month we want to focus on ourselves, how we have to show up to support and foster an agile environment beyond the agile manifesto or any particular framework.
In part 3 we taking a closer look at the interactions among people, more specifically how we understand what others want to tell us or how we can assure that others understand us - ‘Should others just agree with you, no questions asked?’ & ’Do you care what others want?’.

Agile values collaboration more than negotiations. It’s not about me vs you, maintaining the upper hand, getting a bargain, …. When collaborating, you need to make decisions and in order to do that, a few/couple/lot of arguments come to the table to be considered. In that situation there is nothing worse than discussing something while in fact talking about different things and thus not reaching consensus, but how can we avoid that?
