We are planning something a little different for this meeting, and we hope it will be the first of many such events.
We have a real life problem to work through , and it would be great if you could bring your own hard-earned experience to help out some of your peers. This is a problem that impacts Product Owners, UX designers, and the dev teams themselves.
Not long ago, a local company contacted us asking where they might post a question about a challenge they are having. Without going into too much detail, what’s happening is this…
The Product Owners are external to the company. The Product Owners, who come from the client companies, are the ones who provide the user stories. Unfortunately, the user stories they are providing are not coming in fast enough or early enough in the development process, and they are not of good enough quality. The Product Owners say that they can’t write the user stories until they have seen the UX/UI. But the UX/UI designers need the user stories in order to create the UX and UI designs.
