Resilience with Agility

Details
Agile has been around for almost 25 years now. It remains relevant as trends continue to come and go. How to be Agile can vary greatly, from using frameworks like Scrum, which remains the most popular, to home grown methods like the Spotify Model.
Let's look at the Agile principles that enable agility and some of the practices from a wide range of methods and frameworks under the Agile umbrella. In our current times of Agile and Scrum becoming mainstream, and the current resistance to them in the form of "we don't need Scrum Masters" or "Agile is dead" messages you may have seen, how can we reflect on these principles and practices that make us and our systems resilient. We will look at what must be true to become resilient. Do you actually need to be resilient, for example to ever changing unpredictable events and needs? And if so, how does an Agile approach and some practices support a resilient person and or environment. Let's not lose the forest through the trees, or throw the baby out with the bath water. Let's keep those principles and practices that serve us. What are they? Come find out.
