Value Stream Mapping

Details

Abstract:
Value stream mapping has experienced a bit of a resurgence based on Agile scaling practices such as SAFE. VSM is actually at the core of Lean and has been in use for decades. In this presentation we will explore the history of value stream mapping, walk through the process for creating a value stream. We will discuss how we can leverage VSMs to aid in organizational design, frame objectives, and serve as the basis for Lean Portfolio Management.
