WOW!
Your local agile group volunteers have been working overtime to pull together a set of GREAT spring and early summer meetings. I just wanted to make sure you knew what was coming up in the Raleigh-Durham agile community:

• AgileRTP – February 5: Scrum Master panel discussion. Come and figure out what solid “Scrum Mastery” looks like. And feel free to join the panel ;-)

• ALN – February 12: Dean Leffingwell and the Scaled Agile Framework. If you are doing agile at-scale this is a must attend event, as Dean is a leading voice in this space! There are ONLY 35 folks signed-up for this one now…which is a real shame. Let’s get a turn-out going!!!

• AgileRTP – March 5: The topic is Retrospectives. It’s one of the most important, but often least focused on ceremonies in high-performance Scrum teams. Come hear Lisa Rath share her stories.

• ALN – March 19: Catherine Louis was on the ground floor of the Stoos meetings. This is a broad initiative and movement focused towards improving our organizational management skills. Send you manager(s) to this one!

• AgileRTP – April 2: This one should be fun. We’re going to run two iterations of the Marshmallow Challenge to see “how high can you go”. Should sharpen your collaboration & design skills.

• ALN – April 16: What a treat! Erik Willeke, one of the leading voices in the Kanban and Lean communities will be sharing on Kanban for Leaders. A must attend if you’re interested in Kanban.

• ALN – May 21: WHOA, do you know how challenging UX is in the Agile Enterprise? Join our esteemed panel to learn tactics for getting it “right”. This is a joint meeting with Triangle UXPA.

• ALN – June 18: Bob Galen will be sharing his thoughts on Maturity Patterns of Effective Agile Leaders. Again, send our manager(s) to this one.

Everyone
Mark your calendars and go to the Meetup’s to RSVP. Also, share this information with your friends & colleagues.

We hope to see YOU at these meetings as we up the ante in bringing agile topics to RTP.

Stay agile my friends!
AgileRTP and ALN-RTP leadership teams.
