Nexus - The exoskeleton of scaled Scrum development

Details
Frameworks for scaling Agile aren't a rare commodity; each has its own peculiarities. Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) has Release Train and Program Increments, whereas Large Scale Scrum (LeSS) focuses on feature teams and recommends Overall Retrospectives. Enterprise Service Planning (ESP) introduces a Service Delivery Manager role whereas SAFe proposes the role of a Release Train Engineer and a Value Stream Engineer.
In context of all that, where does Nexus stand? If it is based on Agile principles & Lean Thinking, then how different is it from other frameworks? What ceremonies and roles are these principles translated into? Are these different from good old Scrum? Are there any success stories?
Erwin will cover the above questions in a quick introduction to the Nexus framework. We will open the floor afterwards for an extended Q&A session and hopefully finish our year on a high note with an amazing view of the Sydney skyline (see venue details below).
Speaker
Ever since Erwin started his career (in the 90s, don’t tell anyone..) in software development he has been involved with Agile. He started out using XP in a few startups and added Scrum to the mix in 2004. He has been in every role imaginable since: dev lead, Scrum Master, architect, Product Owner and now coach and Professional Scrum Trainer. As a well-known figure in the international Agile community Erwin is often invited to speak at large international conference. When he isn’t either speaking or training he can be found in Melbourne’s co-working scene working on his latest startup.
