Downtown Meetup: An Insiders View of SAFe w/ Elizabeth Friend

The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is one of a few ways to adopt Agile practices at scale. There is a plethora of information available on-line and SAFe training in every city, but what is it really like in practice? This talk will review the framework with real examples of how companies have chosen to execute SAFe. You will learn what benefits were realized as well as what challenges arose.

Bio:

Elizabeth Friend is a SAFe Program Consultant, she has guided two agile transformations; she was transformation champion/RTE at MISO from[masked] and is now assisting adoption at Sallie Mae with an emphasis on metrics. An avid Agileindy meet-up attendee, she was instrumental in procuring the northside Agileindy meetup meeting space at MISO and was a speaker in June 2016.
