Join us on October 12th at 11am EST for our next meetup!

Brought to you by MaxAgility Corporation, this month we will be featuring speaker Sarah Wills. She is a four stripe blue belt in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), and also the VP of Sales and Recruiting at MaxAgility Corporation. She will be detailing how she used an agile mindset to achieve athletic transformation, overcoming severe performance anxiety to become a world champion.

She is the current world champion in her division for CXBJJ, and achieved silver at the IBJJF Masters World's tournament (the largest BJJ tournament in the world) in Las Vegas this year. She's also a multiple time IBJJF PanAmerican medalist, 11 time open IBJJF gold medalist, 4 time Toro Cup Champion, qualified to represent the USA for the NACJJF, and took silver in the ASF Sambo Open Nationals. Sarah has been training BJJ for five years, and has been coaching kids class and teaching private lessons for almost two years now. She is well known in the local martial arts community, and about 500 women in the region came together to send her to compete at the Masters World's tournament this year to represent the region.

Sarah is also a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master, and has been utilizing agile concepts & mindset through Scrum & Kanban in her professional career for the last five years.
