Join us for a joint event with DC Scrum@Scale Meetup group featuring J.J. Sutherland, CEO of Scrum, Inc.

Bio
JJ Sutherland is the CEO of Scrum Inc. and the co-author of Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time. A Certified Scrum Trainer, JJ regularly conducts workshops for companies around the globe. He has experience training, launching and coaching teams at every organizational level. JJ also has a proven record of success enabling leadership to deliver rapid results in a broad range of companies and sectors, including finance, software, and manufacturers.

Prior to joining Scrum Inc., JJ was an award-winning journalist with National Public Radio (NPR). He spent years overseas covering some of the most dangerous and challenging stories from around the world. JJ covered the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the Arab Spring and the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. JJ has also served as Bureau Chief, Deputy Managing Editor, Executive Producer, oversaw the launch of NPR’s secondary headquarters in California and has run the organizations online newsroom.

Currently, JJ is working on his next book, a field guide on how organizations use Scrum to not just survive but thrive and succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
