Agile PM Roundtable: How Product Owners enable great Agile teams

Details

Before a team can start on their work, they need to know what to build and why they are building it. The importance of understanding the impact of the work to be done is called out in much of the Agile literature, but all-too-often this "Product Ownership" (and the Product Owners who provide it) doesn't receive the same kind of support and attention as other Agile disciplines.

In this first Agile PM Roundtable of 2023, let's explore what Agilists, teams, and the overall organizations need from Product Owners and how we can help them achieve their goals.

We'll explore your questions and experiences related to backlog management, stakeholder involvement, launching new efforts, and maintaining a healthy relationship among everyone who works to deliver valuable solutions to your users' most pressing problems.

AgilePDX is providing a forum for Agile Project Managers, Agile Facilitators, and Scrum Masters to gather online once a month and discuss all things project, program, and portfolio related. Please join us for a Lean Coffee style event facilitated by experienced Agile PM's and instructors in the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner prep program.

You'll be dialing in from your desktop with your favorite early morning brew. Please join with your camera on. The Zoom URL will be provided to confirmed attendees. Feel free to post questions to this meetup prior to the event.

We welcome divergent opinions and experience reports. Bring your challenges for groups feedback and support. Plan to join 15 minutes early for coffee clatch chat and networking or stay 15 minutes for the same networking experience.
