Agile PM Roundtable: Managing your Job Search as an Agile project

Agile principles and practices help to people navigate complexity and uncertainty. And what could be more complex and uncertain than a job search?

When you're looking for a new role with a new employer, there are a tremendous number of questions to answers and decisions to make:

• How do I find open positions that are a good match for me, my skills, and my passions?
• What does it take to get the attention of the people who are hiring?
• How can I tell stories about myself that are truthful, authentic, and compelling?
• What are some techniques for keeping up with all of the moving parts of my job search?

At the Agile PM Roundtable, we think that our Agile mindset and skillset can help us answer those kinds of question. Agile helps you inspect your current situation, adapt to changes that you observe, and set a course to the future you envision. If Agile can help us build software, why can't it help our job search?

We'll convene a Lean Coffee to explore our collective experiences in our job searches. Lean Coffee puts you, the participant, in the driver's seat. You decide what to discuss and how long to discuss it.

Whether you're just starting your job search, been looking for a while, are comfortably employed, or just curious about how you'll get to your next gig, we hope you'll join us to explore managing your job search as an Agile project.
