Hands-on Agile Practices Workshop with Jeff Kosciejew

Details
Join us at AgileTO's first event of the new year on January 22nd at 6:00pm! We're featuring a participatory simulation to explore and experience the concepts and mechanics of working in a more agile way. During this fun & educational workshop, we'll get to see the impact we can have on key outcomes we're able to achieve by making smart decisions and finding ways to work more effectively in delivering value. We'll experience just how impactful some of the practices associated with common agile frameworks & methodologies actually are! It's not uncommon for the discussions to include topics like interdisciplinary project teams, work-in-progress limits, theory of constraints, cross-functional delivery teams, work distribution, pull-systems, platform (or enablement) teams, systems thinking, and so much more. Hopefully you'll come to actively participate in the simulation; if you'd prefer to just observe, you're welcome to do so, but it's not nearly as much fun! Oh... Did we mention that Lego is involved?
You'll leave the session with a solid introduction to some concepts and practical ideas that you can take and potentially apply within your own organization and with your own teams. And, as always, we'll have time to network and catch up with others over the course of the evening.
