About Mike Edwards:
Mike works with people, teams, and leaders who want to transform their lives. Throughout his career, Mike has learned the power of different leadership stances for different situations. Most recently Mike has strengthened his coaching stance in becoming a Co-Active Coach which has enhanced his ability to lead others. Mike is a founding member of Leanintuit, a team of Agile Coaches supporting organizational change. In addition to coaching, Mike shares his thoughts regularly through teaching, blogging, his newsletter and an upcoming book.
About the session on Leadership Stances:
"We cannot solve our problems using the same thinking we used to create them" -- Einstein. This is true of Leadership in companies attempting to transform how they do business. In other words, installing 'The Agile' is not enough to get teams into the category of being a high performing team. Leadership is something we all provide, not just someone with a fancy title. In this interactive session, we will explore four different leadership stances, the importance of each, and have a little fun trying them on. With an awareness of these stances, regardless of where you are on company hierarchy, you can start making conscious choices to increase the impact of your Leadership.
