Lyssa Adkins’ focus is improving the performance of organizational leaders to solve the challenges they face today while expanding their capacities to be more fit for the challenges right around the corner. She does this through skillful professional and organizational systems coaching. Helping leaders make difficult decisions faster and with clear alignment, unknot challenging organizational blockers, create the conditions for smooth organizational delivery, work with the anxiety of turbulent times and take up the transformation that is theirs to do… this is where she thrives and helps leaders thrive.
In partnership with Greaterthan, she delivers larger consulting engagements for organizations stepping into the “future of work” featuring self-organization, distributed leadership, participatory governance and decision-making at scale.
Lyssa has been pleased to serve the emergence of agile coaching as a profession. In 2010, she co-founded the Agile Coaching Institute which developed over 10,000 people in the knowledge, skills and being-ness needed to deliver on the promise of agile. She is the author of *Coaching Agile Teams* which has been a top ranking business book for more than a dozen years and has sold over 75,000 copies.
Her current community service focus is inspiring the worldwide network of agilists to see the devastating planetary challenges we are already experiencing as an opportunity to express their agile superpowers to make a significant impact locally and globally.
She constantly hones her craft and has recently developed skills in trauma-informed collaboration and coaching, somatic coaching, neurodiversity coaching, coaching for adult development and coaching for future-fit leadership.
She holds key industry certifications: International Coach Federation Professional Certified Coach (PCC), Organization and Relationship Systems Certified Coach (ORSCC), Certified Integral Facilitator (IF), Leadership Circle Profile Certified Practitioner (LCP), ICAgile Expert in Agile Coaching (ICE-AC) and Scrum Alliance Certified Enterprise Coach Emeritus (CEC-E). She is also a trained Co-Active Coach and Leader.
