I'm Ammar, and I'm thrilled to welcome you to our language exchange meetup. My journey into the world of Japanese language and culture started with anime, but it was a show called Khawater that truly ignited my interest. In 2018, I fulfilled a dream by traveling to Japan, but the language barrier left me wanting to fully immerse myself in the experience. That trip inspired me to embark on a journey of learning Japanese, a journey that led me to where I am today.
I've explored various language learning tools like Duolingo, engaged in language exchange sessions on HelloTalk, and taken online lessons through platforms like ITalki. My love for Japanese food, anime, manga, and the broader culture continues to grow. As we embark on this language exchange adventure, I bring not only my enthusiasm for Japanese but also my desire to create a supportive and fun environment for us all.
My vision for this group is to cultivate a thriving Japanese-speaking community right here in Khobar, Dammam, Dhahran, Qatif, and beyond.
