Exchange on Best Practices & Pitfalls of Remote Data Science Work

Details

In these uniques times, we’d like to provide more opportunities for our data community to connect and support each other.
Join us to exchange on your experience, best practices and common pitfalls of working remotely with fellow data practitioners from around the world - and build upon collective learnings to navigate these times.
This event will follow the Lean Coffee™ metholodogy, which consists in structured discussions following an agenda that is democratically generated at the beginning of the session. At the beginning, participants suggest topics they’d like to discuss, in relation with the event’s theme. Then everyone gets to vote, and the most upvoted will be discussed first within a limited time frame. When time is over, all can vote to extend the conversation or switch to the next topic.
The discussion will be facilitated by Tom Brown, who is a group facilitator and scrum master. Tom works in data science in the cultural non-profit sector with organizations in the NYC area such as Liberty Science Center as Director of Digital Projects & Analytics, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, McCarter Theater and the Museum of Chinese in America.
PS: the conversation has already started with a few useful resources on the Dataiku Community!
