The r/AI_Agents community launched in April 2023 — and now, with over 100,000 members strong, it’s time to celebrate the milestone the best way we know how: by building!

Join us for our first-ever week-long virtual hackathon, where the mission is simple — build something epic in the world of AI agents. Whether you’re deep into LLM workflows or just curious about agent ecosystems, this is your playground.

Format:

• Fully virtual
• Teams of up to 3 people
• All coordination via our official Discord
• Open to devs, tinkerers, product folks, solo hackers — you name it!

What to Build:

• An AI Agent or a tool related to AI Agents
• Pre-built projects allowed, but you can only submit the part that you build during the hackathon week for judging!
• All submissions must be open-sourced

Key Dates:

• Registration closes: May 13
• Team formation (via Discord): May 13–14
• Workshops & live sessions: May 14
  (We’ll dive into how to build with the latest AI tools)

Prizes:

• Sponsor-specific awards (eg. Best Use of XYZ) : Cash prizes + cloud credits
• Community Votes: Featured & pinned on r/AI_Agents for a month
• Judge’s Pick: 1:1 meetings with VCs
