The First Official Hackathon for r/AI_Agents 🚀

The r/AI_Agents community launched in April 2023 — and now, with over 100,000 members strong, it’s time to celebrate the milestone the best way we know how: by building!
Join us for our first-ever week-long virtual hackathon, where the mission is simple — build something epic in the world of AI agents. Whether you’re deep into LLM workflows or just curious about agent ecosystems, this is your playground.
Format:
- Fully virtual
- Teams of up to 3 people
- All coordination via our official Discord
- Open to devs, tinkerers, product folks, solo hackers — you name it!
What to Build:
- An AI Agent or a tool related to AI Agents
- Pre-built projects allowed, but you can only submit the part that you build during the hackathon week for judging!
- All submissions must be open-sourced
Key Dates:
- Registration closes: May 13
- Team formation (via Discord): May 13–14
- Workshops & live sessions: May 14
(We’ll dive into how to build with the latest AI tools)
Prizes:
- Sponsor-specific awards (eg. Best Use of XYZ) : Cash prizes + cloud credits
- Community Votes: Featured & pinned on r/AI_Agents for a month
- Judge’s Pick: 1:1 meetings with VCs
