I started this group as a way to put feelers out and see if anyone else in Tucson is interested in learning more about AI. Sometimes it might just be me sitting at a coffee shop reading about large language models, but I have a feeling I’m not the only one who’s curious.
A bit about me: I’ve been in IT for 17 years and currently work as a Solutions Architect. I have a BS in Information Technology and I’m working toward my Master’s in Computer Science with a focus on AI and Machine Learning. But don’t let the buzzwords fool you. I’m just a nerd who enjoys building and breaking things and learning along the way. Most of the time I’m confused too, so if you ever feel like that, you’re in good company.
AI & Coffee is about learning together, asking questions, sharing ideas, and maybe even teaming up on creative projects. No pressure, no expectations, and no gatekeeping.
