  • Context

This is PaperKG’s first meetup at NUS, hosted as a side event of the International Open Source Festival Singapore: NextGen AI Summit SG 2025 and IEEE SOLI 2025. Designed for courses, labs, and student clubs, PaperKG shows how RAG + KAG (Retrieval-Augmented + Knowledge-Augmented Generation) convert papers into knowledge graphs and traceable evidence chains, turning “search → structure → conclusion” into a reusable, engineered workflow.

  • Date & Time

Monday, September 29, 2025 · 2:00–3:00 PM (SGT)

  • Venue

National University of Singapore (NUS), E7-03-07 (Seminar Room 2)
15 Kent Ridge Cres, Singapore 119276

  • Overview

The PaperKG team will deliver a 20-minute product overview + live demo, followed by 40 minutes of networking & hands-on: face-to-face Q&A, workflow co-design, small-group walk-throughs, and partnership chats.

  • Product Highlights
  1. RAG + KAG engine for grounded, traceable answers
  2. Knowledge-graph visualization with auto entity/relation extraction & interactive export
  3. Long-paper parsing: chunking, denoising, citation alignment; multi-paper reasoning
  4. Evidence pinning: one-click linkage between answers and paragraphs/figures/references
  5. Collaboration: shared projects, annotations, version history (course/club-friendly)
  6. Exports: BibTeX / CSV / graph images
  • Live Tutorial (On-site Flow)
  1. Create project & set permissions
  2. Import sources: PDF / DOI / web snapshots (2–3 sample papers)
  3. Auto parse: chunking, extraction, citation alignment, QA checks
  4. Ask with grounding: view sources & confidence for traceability
  5. Build graph: filter relations, visualize, pin key evidence
  6. Export & share: BibTeX / CSV / graph images; read-only links for reports/assignments
  • Agenda (60 mins)
  1. 2:00–2:05 Welcome & context (IOSF / SOLI week)
  2. 2:05–2:20 Talk + Live Demo (20′)
