AI + (Automotive & Mobility) - #1 MeetUp

Dear Makers,

This is the very first Meetup for this group!!!

Since this is the very first meetup of the group, the original idea was to simply meet and discuss about AI+(Automotive & mobility) and the future of this group.

Luckily, I could find a speaker which will give some more "beef" for discussion and critical thinking.

Myself, Albert Pujol, will be the first speaker giving an introduction to AI+(Automotive & mobility). After that, Pablo Palafox will introduce their product Happyrobot and explain how it could be applied in the automotive & mobility fields.

This Meetup group is a project in the making which I personally find really exciting. Please come and join and forward the event!

Talk #1: Introduction to AI+(Automotive & Mobility)
Abstract:
Artificial Intelligence will reshape humanity as you know it in the centuries to come. It is now time to define the foundations of this revolution. At the same time, the automotive & mobility industry are experiencing the biggest disruption in its history, having now a greater impact on society. Those professionals working in combination with this technology have a great degree of responsibility. "AI+(Automotive & Mobility)" aims to bring us together and talk about it.

About Albert:
Albert Pujol is the founder and CEO of AI Shepherds. Albert is a seasoned mechanical engineer with and MBA and a master in data science. He has worked for most of his career in the automotive industry (at BMW among other companies). After 8 years working as a mechanical engineer, he decided to shift his career towards AI. After completing his master in data science, he founded AI Shepherds.

Talk #2: AI vision made easy
Abstract:
At Happyrobot we're working on unlocking the value of the billions of bytes of images and videos captured and created every day. Our AI platform automates the Computer Vision workflow to go from raw data to insights instantly, compared to current solutions that rely heavily on inefficient manual labor.

About Pablo:
Pablo Palafox is a mechanical engineer with a masters in automation and electronics. He was a PhD candidate at Angela Dai's 3D AI lab at TUM and also intern researcher at Meta Reality Labs with Tony Tung. After that Pablo co-founded Happyrobot.
