AI Avatar Factory v1 Launch - Digital Avatars, a Hands-On Workshop

Hi all,
we're excited to announce a project we've been working on for months! So this meetup is a bit different than the other events we've hosted so far.

The open source project AAFactory or AI Avatar Factory is a platform for creating and managing AI avatars. Whether you're building virtual assistants, digital characters, or interactive AI personalities, this tool provides an easy-to-use interface with powerful video editing capabilities. Since it is open source, the platform itself is free too!

Together with our AAFactory community, we had our first release just in October. So come and join us celebrate this milestone!
We’ll cover what’s new, demo the platform, and guide you through a hands‑on coding lab designed for first‑time and experienced contributors. Bring a laptop and curiosity.

The workshop plan

1. Setup AAFactory on your local machine
2. Create avatars together
3. Clone voice
4. Generate avatar image variants
5. Make the avatar talk from an image
6. Animate an avatar from a video
7. Create your own first video and share the result with the group!
