About us
AI Builders SKG is a Thessaloniki meetup for people who build with agentic AI, and for anyone who wants to see how it is actually done.
At every session, builders from different companies, stacks and domains show something they have shipped: an agent, a workflow, a product or an internal tool built with AI. We skip the slides about what AI could do in theory. We want to see the real system, the architecture decisions, the trade-offs and the bugs along the way.
We are stack-agnostic and domain-agnostic. One night it might be a fintech team running LLM agents on top of legacy systems in Python. The next it could be a logistics startup orchestrating tools in TypeScript, or a solo developer automating their daily work with open-source models. The common thread is that someone built it, it works (or it taught them why it didn't), and they are willing to share how.
Should you attend ?
Yes, if you build software and AI is part of it or about to be. Software engineers, ML engineers, data people, product managers, founders and students all fit in. You don't need to be an AI expert, but the talks assume you are comfortable with software and want to see how things work under the hood.
Come as you are. Talks are demo-driven and there is time after each one to dig into the details with the speaker. Stay for the networking afterwards. Many of the best conversations happen after the last slide.
Want to present?
If you or your company have built something with agentic AI, we want to hear about it. It can be big or small, polished or rough, a success or a lesson learned. Get in touch and we will help you shape it into a talk.

AI Builders SKG - Meetup #2
OK!Thess, ΚΥΔΩΝΙΩΝ 2, όπισθεν Σοφούλη 30, Thessaloniki 546 55, Greece, Thessaloniki, GRWe're back.
Three weeks after our first meetup, AI Builders SKG returns to OK!Thess, powered by Municipality of Thessaloniki, with two more stories from the builder side of AI. One is about a business run by one-two people and a dozen agents. The other is about what happens when an AI prototype has to survive contact with a real business.
Software for One - Personal Software in the Age of Agents
What does it take to run a real business with one or two people and a dozen AI agents? The work that used to need a team is making content, editing videos, scheduling posts across five platforms, tracking what's working, and building the tools to do all of it. Now a small crew of humans and agents handles it, using software built for nobody but them.
In this talk, Vangelis will show the Mission Center, a small app on a Mac mini at home that was built with AI coding agents. AI scripts make the posts and videos. Each one lands in a queue, and every morning a phone notification says what to post where, with the media and captions ready. Agents build new features overnight, while the humans sleep. From AI Prototype to Real Business Value: What Actually Works (and What Doesn't)
Building something with AI has never been easier. Turning it into a reliable solution that solves a real business problem is a different challenge.Panos will share practical experiences from building AI-powered business applications and automation workflows at BACKLOG, and explore the gap between a promising prototype and a production-ready solution.
Panos will cover what works, what doesn't, common implementation mistakes, and why understanding the business problem matters more than choosing the latest AI model. The focus is on practical lessons, real-world challenges, and building AI solutions that deliver measurable value.Stay for pizza and beers.
The talks are only half of it. Stick around afterwards for pizza, beers, and a chance to meet your fellow builders. The most interesting conversations usually happen after the presentations end.Agenda
