AI Builders SKG - Meetup #2
Details
We're back.
Three weeks after our first meetup, AI Builders SKG returns to OK!Thess, powered by Municipality of Thessaloniki, with two more stories from the builder side of AI. One is about a business run by one-two people and a dozen agents. The other is about what happens when an AI prototype has to survive contact with a real business.
Software for One - Personal Software in the Age of Agents
What does it take to run a real business with one or two people and a dozen AI agents?
The work that used to need a team is making content, editing videos, scheduling posts across five platforms, tracking what's working, and building the tools to do all of it. Now a small crew of humans and agents handles it, using software built for nobody but them.
In this talk, Vangelis will show the Mission Center, a small app on a Mac mini at home that was built with AI coding agents. AI scripts make the posts and videos. Each one lands in a queue, and every morning a phone notification says what to post where, with the media and captions ready. Agents build new features overnight, while the humans sleep.
From AI Prototype to Real Business Value: What Actually Works (and What Doesn't)
Building something with AI has never been easier. Turning it into a reliable solution that solves a real business problem is a different challenge.
Panos will share practical experiences from building AI-powered business applications and automation workflows at BACKLOG, and explore the gap between a promising prototype and a production-ready solution.
Panos will cover what works, what doesn't, common implementation mistakes, and why understanding the business problem matters more than choosing the latest AI model. The focus is on practical lessons, real-world challenges, and building AI solutions that deliver measurable value.
Stay for pizza and beers.
The talks are only half of it. Stick around afterwards for pizza, beers, and a chance to meet your fellow builders. The most interesting conversations usually happen after the presentations end.
