Responsible AI

We are excited to welcome Catherina Xu, Product Manager at Google AI. Catherina will talk about the concepts and approaches to Responsible AI and how it is already represented in Google's ML portfolio.

In this talk you'll learn about the various challenges of fair and responsible AI and how to apply the right methods and techniques to it.

As billions of people around the world continue to use products or services with AI at their core, it's more important than ever to use AI responsibly. It has always been our highest priority to build products that are socially beneficial, safe, inclusive, and accountable to our communities. In this Session, we'll go over the collection of offerings in the Responsible AI Toolkit, a growing library of lessons learned and resources that anyone can apply to AI deployments.

Cat is the product lead of the Responsible ML Infrastructure team where she leads the development of evaluation, mitigation, and transparency tools that enable teams to build more inclusive ML products. She is interested in bringing research techniques that detect and address Responsible AI concerns to production scale, at Google and in open source. Cat received her BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.
