Hablemos de IA y ciberseguridad: diseño seguro en la era de la IA.

La inteligencia artificial hace que construir software funcional sea cada vez más fácil, pero no más seguro. Esta charla trata de por qué la seguridad no es un feature que se agrega al final, sino un principio desde el diseño del sistema.

A través de una dinámica tipo Capture the Flag exploramos patrones de diseño seguro, prácticas clave en desarrollo con Python, herramientas que facilitan implementarlas, y los riesgos reales de ignorar todo esto. También hablamos del "vibe coding" aplicado a software "seguro" y cómo genera una falsa sensación de protección.

Hands-on: Rodrigo levanta un entorno con Docker y lo despliega en la nube (Azure o AWS). Juntos lo tiramos usando Kali Linux y herramientas de IA.

Herramienta: Kali Linux. Si nunca lo has instalado, no te preocupes — hay opciones para Windows, Mac y Linux. Llega 30 minutos antes y el equipo te ayuda a configurarlo.

Security as a principle, not a patch: secure design in the age of AI.

AI makes shipping working software easier than ever, but not safer. This talk is about why security is not a feature you bolt on at the end, but a principle baked into the system from the design stage.

Through a Capture the Flag dynamic we explore secure design patterns, key practices for developing with Python, tooling that makes them easier to implement, and the real risks of ignoring all of it. We also dig into "vibe coding" applied to "secure" software, and how it manufactures a false sense of protection.

Hands-on: Rodrigo stands up an environment with Docker and deploys it to the cloud (Azure or AWS). Together we tear it down using Kali Linux and AI tools.
