The in-person meetup (at the Flatiron School) will start with a presentation by Shaf, after which there will be a networking opportunity.

In the presentation, we'll explore the development of neural style transfer from its theoretical underpinnings to practical applications, as demonstrated in the influential 2015 study "A Neural Algorithm of Artistic Style".

We'll discuss key advancements and technical challenges in applying complex algorithms to blend artistic styles with digital media. Additionally, we'll consider its broader implications in media production, interactive entertainment, and virtual reality. Demos will be included.
