The in-person meetup will start with a presentation on AI by Shafik Quoraishee. Shafik will talk about how robust monitoring plans, starting from the training phase, can effectively reduce risks during AI deployment. We'll also cover innovative approaches like synthetic data and simulations to strengthen model robustness. Lastly, we'll revisit key insights from the Las Vegas Ai4 Conference (https://ai4.io/vegas/agenda#agenda), and a general discussion of themes presented at the conference.

After the presentation, there will be a networking opportunity to allow you to meet others, discuss projects and learn from their experience.

All of our monthly New York City meetups aim to connect, share resources and ideas, and discuss AI and Python projects that can make a positive impact in the world, but especially in New York City.
