AI DevOps Workshop: How to do familiar deployments with new tools

Who we are

We are the builders of monkOS, a distributed cloud operating system that we believe will be the new normal for cloud deployments.

What we will cover

Over the course of your careers, you’ve likely deployed many, many applications on a wide variety of vastly different environments, each with its own specific needs. Today, we’re going to re-visit these familiar activities and learn how to deploy and manage a cloud application and its dependent infrastructure using Monk, our new autonomous AI DevOps agent that runs apps in the cloud. What we will specifically cover:

• Application deployment with a sample app
• How to view the metrics associated with the deployment
• How to view the deployment state and troubleshoot failed deployments

Because we will be working with the monkOS toolchain to do this we will need you to sign up for your account before the meetup and will send the link one week in advance.

Since this meetup is a workshop, we are opening up sign ups for additional TAs during the meetup. To thank you, we’ll be offering premium Monk swag and will ask your shirt/hoodie size as part of the TA sign up process. Due to some of the limits of the registration form for the Meetup, we’ll be sending out a Meetup message two weeks in advance of the event for people to sign up for a short training session to be a TA. The training session will be approximately one week prior to the event and will be virtual.

• -- Learn about the tools you will use for the exercise: a web GUI and autonomous AI DevOps Agent
• -- We will also briefly cover our Contributor Program so you can learn how to leverage and scale your expertise, and get paid to do so.
• 6:20 PM: Hands-on exercise: using AI DevOps GUI and autonomous agent to do a deployment
• – Account setups (please register in advance as this will speed up this process)

• -- Learn how to check the deployment health
• -- Discuss how to handle failure modes with the AI DevOps toolchain
