What we’re about
Europe's first meetup dedicated to accelerating Gender Minorities' careers in Artificial Intelligence (AI), ultimately to support Tech Diversity & Inclusion, and enable Social Mobility & Equity!
We are a London-based community for Minority Gender folk (Non-Binary, Female, Trans & any underrepresented gender identities in tech) who want to learn, explore, discuss, collaborate, and ultimately enable & develop our careers in the current 'Fourth Industrial Revolution' Tech fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and relevant areas of Computer Science! But we'll also be pro-actively looking forward to be able to adapt to whatever the future of Tech holds, and help shape a brighter, more equitable world :)
We will run meetups as often as possible for members to gather together for relevant presentations, computing workshops, dojos, hacks, job hunting prep and/or whatever is of most interest and need to the community!
Please do get involved if you want to help shape, manage, and/or drive the direction of this group - it exists for your benefit :)

Community Rules
Code of Conduct*: all community/event members and/or attendees and/or involved persons are expected to respect, abide, and support the ultimate aim of the AI Club for Gender Minorities of promoting gender diversity & inclusivity in Tech in any/all activity associated with the organisation. Anyone dissenting from this expected behaviour will be subject to whatever action the community organisers deems necessary.*
Photos, Films and all other media/recordings*: photographs and/or video/other media will be taken at events held by this community. By taking part in/being present at an AI Club for Gender Minorities event you grant the community organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming/media, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for publicity, fundraising or other purposes to help achieve the community’s aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to be recorded in these media please inform the community organisers.*
GDPR compliance*: in order to manage the allocation of places for AI Club meetup events to members, we maintain a database that logs the history of each member's sign-up/attendance/cancellation activity. We run an algorithm using this database to determine if/when a member that signs up to an event should be moved from the default waiting list, to a meetup place. You will, of course, have full rights as specified by GDPR to opt-in/out of this data process, which we will bring to your attention.*
Google Analytics User-ID Permission*: as of 23.10.17, we have enabled the Google Analytics User-ID feature on this page. This will help us generate insight on how the website is being used and to optimise it for your benefit. To opt out of this, please contact the community organisers.*
