- Speaker: Joe Peng, System Architect / Sr. RSM - ANZ @ AMD
- Overview: AI is rapidly shifting from the cloud to the edge — and it's not just a trend, it's the next revolution in computing. In this keynote, Joe will unpack why Edge AI is becoming essential for tomorrow's intelligent systems. From lower latency and improved privacy to energy-efficient, always-on intelligence, Edge AI is reshaping how we build, deploy, and experience AI. Whether you're a deep learning enthusiast, developer, or tech leader, this session will show why Edge AI is not just the future — it's happening now. Learn how you can be part of this wave and why the AI & Edge meetup is the community to watch.
6:30 pm – 6:55 pm | Talk 2 – Edge AI Solutions: Empowering AI at the Edge with Software and Services
- Speaker: TBA – a special guest from a global leader in Industrial IoT (IIoT), edge computing, and embedded solutions.
- Overview: The use cases for Edge AI are incredibly diverse, requiring a range of AI computing capabilities and industrial designs. We collaborate with multiple partners, including AMD, Nvidia, Qualcomm, and Intel, to develop Edge AI solutions that seamlessly integrate hardware and software. This collaboration accelerates the deployment of AI across various industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and smart cities. Our offerings leverage CPU, VPU, and GPU technologies from our eco-partners, providing multifaceted AI solutions that efficiently scale AI applications while optimising budget and resource utilisation.
6:55 pm – 7:20 pm | Talk 3 – How to Build a Deep Learning AutoML No-Code System
- Speaker: Andy Zeng, CTO @ BrewAI
- Overview: It is usually time consuming to build a deep learning model — data integration, feature engineering, embedding and hyper-parameter tuning will cost ML experts weeks of time. However, an AutoML system can make all steps automated — You don't have to write a single line of code to build a model. In this talk, Andy will introduce the concept of AutoML No-Code System, give a demo on how it works, and dive into the architectural design of a typical AutoML System.
