It’s been quite a month! There’s been a lot of buzz around rising compute costs, local LLMs for enterprises, and some fascinating comparisons to the days when people rented mainframe time before personal desktops changed everything.

That makes this meetup feel especially timely. We’ll be taking a friendly, practical look at what it takes to build and run a local LLM for your own private use, and why more people are starting to explore that path.

And if you have a demo, we’d love for you to bring it along and share it with the group. It’s always inspiring to see what others have built, what they’re experimenting with, and what they’re excited about next.

Quick RSVP note: Meetup.com caps RSVPs at 10 and adds a waitlist. If you land on the waitlist, don’t stress and come anyway.

Other random notes:

  • Anyone using Googles antigravity? Is it a Cursor killer?
