AI for Local Business Owners
This group is for people running clinics, cafés, shops, agencies, trades, practices, and other small businesses who want to figure out where AI can actually help in their day-to-day work.
AI is moving fast, but most of the advice out there is either written for developers and tech companies or comes from someone trying to sell you an AI course.
Who are we
We’re two software engineers who started this group because we believe local business owners should be able to benefit from AI without having to become tech experts.
We’ve spent our careers working in technology, including experience at Microsoft, building software, automation, and AI-powered tools. We want to take what we’ve learned from the tech world and share it with local businesses in a way that’s practical and easy to understand.
We’re not here to teach you the technical side of AI. We’re here to show you what you can actually do with it.
We’re here to keep it simple.
What to expect

The goal isn’t to turn you into an AI expert.
It’s to help you find practical ways to save time, reduce repetitive work, and run your business a little more efficiently.
Whenever possible, you’ll leave a session with something useful that you can actually take back and use in your business — not just a list of tools or things to read about.
No technical background needed. No jargon. And no courses to sell.
Just learning and figuring out how to put AI to work.
