The AI Revolution: What's Next & How Will Society Cope?

Details

Join AI Futures first meetup (in Oxford - a London event is coming soon) to hear more about what extraordinary developments are coming, how you can be more deeply involved in the AI revolution, and how to understand better both the positive and potential negative implications. We will present at least two short talks at differing technical levels on some key aspects of AI and also potential impacts of both LLMs, gen AI, and robots, which seem to be approaching their 'ChatGPT' moment.

We will be featuring a special talk on a vital topic, namely AI safety, by final-year Oxford student, Gracie Green, who is studying psychology and philosophy and is an organiser with the Oxford and Cambridge AI Safety Hubs.

All talks will allow time for Q & A. There will also be time for ensemble discussion and to hear about your interests, knowledge, concerns and hopes.

The Snug in The Chequers (131 High St, Oxford) is limited to 20 people, so please sign up early!

If you haven't already done it, please take our new members survey: New Members Survey
