What we’re about
Welcome to AI in Software Engineering - Riverty Tech Nights, a dynamic meetup group in Berlin dedicated to the fusion of artificial intelligence and software engineering.
Join a community of professionals and enthusiasts eager to explore how AI can transform software development. Whether you're a seasoned engineer or just curious about AI, this group is for you!
We regularly invite engineers sharing their experiments. Failed or successful ones, no matter.
The group is for software engineers, data scientists, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in the future of AI in tech.
Let’s explore the exciting possibilities of AI together at AI in Software Engineering - Riverty Tech Nights! Your ideas and participation are welcome!

Knowledge Graphs + Multi-Agents for Large Codebases
Riverty HQ (5th floor in Living Berlin Kaufhaus, formerly Stilwerk), Kantstraße 17, 10623 Berlin, Berlin, DE“As foundation models become increasingly commoditized, competitive advantage will come from how well an organization engineers context.”
— Jared Bowns, Forbes Technology Council
He’s right.### The Challenge
In a typical enterprise, the tech landscape looks like a digital maze:
- Hundreds (sometimes thousands) of legacy systems in outdated languages
- A jungle of microservices spread across countless repositories
- Documentation scattered across SaaS tools
- Complex identity setups and cross-cutting business processes
Meanwhile, everyone’s already “using AI” — but in silos:
🧑💻 Developers rely on Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
📋 Product teams live in Atlassian.
💬 Everyone chats with ChatGPT.
Yet the toughest questions remain slow — or nearly impossible — to answer:- How does the payment flow really work across seven repositories?
- Who produces and consumes what in our event-driven architecture?
- Where is business logic duplicated across systems?
### The Riverty Approach
At Riverty, we’re changing that.
We’ve parsed ~300 of our 1,500 repositories into a knowledge graph that gives LLMs the context they need to actually understand our systems.
On top of it, we’re building smart agents that use this graph to:- Trace dependencies across services
- Answer architecture questions in seconds
- Accelerate safe, reliable change
The result? LLMs that are faster, cheaper, and smarter — because they finally know the context.
Join our community event with the KI Park and let Daniella & Sujay walk you through how we built the Riverty Knowledge Graph (with a live demo), and Claudia shows multi-agents on top of the graph for searching large codebases. We’ll wrap with a Q&A and—yes—pizza.
Who should come: engineering leaders, platform folks, data/ML engineers, and PMs who want the hype filtered into workable patterns. No fluff, demo-first, bring your questions.
Agenda
- 18:00 Doors Open
- 18.30 Welcome
- 18:40 The Riverty Knowledge Graph (why we built it, use cases, and live demo, Q&A)
- 19:10 Multi-Agents on top of the graph (how we built them and what for, Q&A)
- 19:45 Pizza & Drinks
Hope to see you there!
