Abstract:
Are you happy in your current position? I mean are you really happy in your current position? In this talk, certified career coach Dewan Ahmed will explain about Ikigai (Japanese concept referring to something that gives a person a sense of purpose, a reason for living) and teach how you can use a template to find a happy & satisfying career. Whether you're a student looking to land your first job or an experienced professional trying to switch from another industry; this talk will guide you on job searching strategy in tech, skill building, resume writing and most importantly, effective networking.

• Bio:
Dewan Ahmed is a developer advocate at Red Hat and freelance career coach based in Moncton, NB, Canada. Before starting at Red Hat, he wore many hats at IBM as a developer, QA, PM, consultant & developer advocate. Dewan's primary focus is cloud & devops but he considers himself a generalist.
