Session 1: Qdrant MCP-code-snippets: Up-to-Date Code for AI Copilots, Powered by Painful Docs Parsing
AI copilots are great helpers in (vibe) coding, until they start using Paleozoic-era deprecated functions or ignore your project’s requirements.

We wanted to fix that with Qdrant mcp-code-snippets, an open-source Model Context Protocol server that uses production-grade vector search to supply AI coding assistants with relevant code snippets from real docs.
The MCP, AI, and whatnot parts were relatively easy; the final boss was a months-long fight with HTML parsing, resulting in 40k+ curated code snippets.
In this talk, we (Qdrant’s ML Engineer & DevRel) will tell the mcp-code-snippets saga, aka why we had to build a whole service for snippet parsing. Expect a live demo!
