AI Leaders Romania

The fifth edition of Let's Talk AI, and the second organized by The AI Collective Bucharest Chapter. An informal evening in Bucharest with no slides, no panels, no pitches. Just drinks and conversation with the people in Romania actually working with AI, whether they're deploying it inside their companies or building it for a living.

## Why we're doing this

We're building a community where the two crowds that should be talking to each other actually do: business leaders working through AI adoption, and the AI practitioners building what they end up using. We want to meet the people who'd actually show up. Hear what you're working on, where you're stuck, and what would be useful from a community like this.

## Who should come

If you make or influence AI decisions in a company (founders, executives, directors, product managers, team leads), you'll get the most out of it if you're currently asking yourself things like:

• Where should we start with AI?
• How do we move from experimentation to something real
• What does EU AI Act mean for our business?
• How are other companies in Romania approaching this?

You don't need a technical background. We focus on strategy, business impact, and leadership.

If you build AI for a living (founders of AI companies, ML/AI engineers, applied researchers, AI consultants, data scientists shipping to production), you'll find peers, the people building what gets adopted, and the leaders looking to adopt it. We're explicit: practitioners with real projects, not theorists, not influencers. If you're tired of the conference circuit and want a room of people doing serious work, this is it.

## What to expect

• A relaxed venue, drinks, and 4+ hours of open conversation.
• Members of the chapter team in the room: production AI architects, AI product founders, EU AI Act policy advisors, ex-Microsoft AI leads. Come ask anything.
• No slides. No pitches. No "let me tell you about my company" panels.
• Intimate enough that real conversations happen, not a conference where you lose people in the crowd.
