### Stop just chatting with AI—start building it. In this hands-on workshop, we are moving beyond basic prompts.

We are going to use Python as our toolkit to build a Snoqualmie Falls Digital Ranger: a specialized AI expert that knows the history, geology, and secrets of our local landmark better than any general chatbot.

Whether you have never written a line of code (Level 0) or you’re a seasoned dev (Level 3), this event is designed for you to walk in with a laptop and walk out with a working AI agent you built yourself.

### The 90-Minute Sprint Agenda

  • 00-15 | The Vibe Check: Coffee, snacks, and connecting to the lab. We’ll quickly gauge everyone’s comfort level.
  • 15-30 | Under the Hood: A fast, visual breakdown of how LLMs (Large Language Models) work. We’ll learn the secret of the System Role—the steering wheel of AI.
  • 30-75 | The Big Build: Using our "No-Install" Google Colab template, you’ll remix the code to build your Ranger. You’ll give it a personality (Professional Ranger? Sassy Tour Guide? 1850s Prospector?) and test its knowledge.
  • 75-90 | Lightning Demos & Roadmap: Show off your creation! We’ll wrap up by discussing how we’ll give our bots a "Database Memory" in the next session.
