The June edition of the AI on the Amstel Meetup will be a special CTO panel event held at ING's large theater space. The June meetup will feature high-profile CTOs discussing how AI will transform both the engineering department and the software engineering role.
The panel will include ING Bank's CTO (Daniele Tonella), Picnic's CTO (Daniel Gebler), and Adyen's CTO (Tom Adams).
Before the panel, Dmitri Jarnikov (Senior Director of Data Science at Prosus and a part-time professor at Eindhoven University of Technology) will give a short presentation. He'll share Prosus' observations around how they see AI changing software engineering. We thought that presentation would be valuable, as Prosus (the second largest company in the Netherlands by market capitalization, behind only ASML) can share what they're seeing across their approximately 150 portfolio companies around the world.
For those that are new to this meetup, the AI on the Amstel Meetup is a monthly technical meetup that features knowledgeable speakers discussing "in the weeds" AI topics and challenges. This meetup caters to engineers, product managers, and founders in AI.
There will be time for networking, and drinks, snacks, and pizzas will be served.
