425 attendeesCTO panel - creating and maintaining AI-generated code (November meetup)
Booking.com Headquarters, Oosterdokskade 163, 1011 DL, Amsterdam, NLThe November edition of the AI on the Amstel Meetup will be focused on AI-generated code. We’ve gotten a lot of requests from the community for a meetup around AI-generated code… how to use AI coding tools, how to put it into production, how to maintain it over time, etc. etc. So that will be the topic for the November meetup! We will have a panel of CTOs discussing this topic. The November meetup will be held at the big theater in Booking's headquarters in central Amsterdam.
We have a panel of three CTOs that each bring a different perspective in terms of company size and business model. Here is the panel for the November meetup:
- Adrian McPhee, CTO of Backbase. Backbase is one of the top fintech companies in Amsterdam, with 16 offices around the world spanning five continents.
- Dana Majid, who was the CTO at Bird (formerly MessageBird) for four years until starting his own startup in 2025. Bird was one of the first tech Unicorns in Amsterdam. Dana is now the CEO and founder of Bigmind, an agentic AI startup.
- Mehnaaz Abidi, Chief Product & Technology Officer at Urban Sports Club. Urban Sports Club is one of Europe’s leading subscription-based sports and wellness platforms.
You've seen all of the headlines (like Google claiming that over 25% of their code comes from AI), so we're going to have a panel of CTOs talking through all things AI generated code!
