Join us for another round of great tech discussion on big data problems and big data solutions in the real-world. The format will be primarily the same -- two focused sessions with time for questions, and room for general discussion. Tentative schedule is:
[7-7:15] Mingle/welcome/intro [7:15-7:45] Joey Echeverria from Cloudera (http://www.cloudera.com/) will present on HBase [7:45-8:00] Break and discussion [8:00-8:30] MapR - Ted Dunning - will present the MapR (http://www.mapr.com/index.php) architecture in some detail and then detail some of the practical implications of this architecture on machine learning with a number of practical examples. [8:30-??] Informal discussion, drink-having Clearspring is hosting, additional food sponsorship opps available. There will once again be a fine selection of beer and other beverages.
