• TensorFlow Mechanics
• Likely scenarios for evolution of TensorFlow
• The new world ahead - places you've never been before where TensorFlow may take you today and tomorrow
Ankit Bahuguna is a Software Engineer (R & D) at Cliqz (A Hubert Burda Media Company), where he focuses on developing deep learning based solutions to tackle the problem of low latency - large scale - web search and with an aim to intelligently gel together: Data, Search and Browsers, thereby shaping the future of Internet. His current work is focussed on "Query Embeddings", where the semantics of the user query are preserved in a fixed dimensional mathematical vector learned using deep neural networks. He recently graduated from TU Munich with a Master's degree in Computer Science, has worked for Teradata in its Big Data R & D team and has research experience at CIS, LMU and IIT Bombay, India, where he was guided by Prof. Heinrich Schütze and Prof. Pushpak Bhattatcharyya respectively.
Talk #2: Outlook on Distributed Multi-Device Execution of Tensorflow for Smart Embedded Systems by Sebnem Rusitschka, Senior Key Expert for Cyber-physical Systems @ Siemens
Sebnem Rusitschka has nearly 10 years of experience in translating Internet scale innovations to the world of industrial machines and processes. The digitalized automation of infrastructures, especially of electrification, has become her area of expertise since she started her journey at Siemens in 2006 after receiving her Diploma Degree in Computer Science and Economics from the Ludwig Maximilians University.
In April 2006, she joined the Peer-to-Peer Team of Siemens Corporate Technology where researched Distributed Systems Design and Applications. She developed frameworks for managing huge volumes of sensor data from the various industrial application domains for Smart Grids, such as meter data management and substation automation.
In 2012 she joined the team Business Analytics and Monitoring in the Research & Technology Center of Siemens. She focused her research on converging new technology paradigms for handling the scalable and real-time analytics of such massive data in cyber-physical systems, beyond organizational boundaries, as will be necessary for highly automated power transmission and distribution systems, or sustainable smart cities.
Since 2015 Sebnem is Senior Key Expert for Cyber-physical Systems with a mission to bring together experts from various disciplines of machine learning, control theory, and embedded, distributed computing to achieve adaptive automation systems.
