Introductory talk on AI Safety

Hello everyone! 👋
Next week we will not have a Thursday meetup and instead have a lecture and dinner with a guest speaker on Wednesday 18:30-20:00. Jörn Stöhler, who participated in the Stanford Existential Risk Initiative's MATS program last year will give an introductory talk to the cause area of AI Safety focusing on extinction risks from smarter-than-human AI. The talk and Q&A will be held at Audimax in the room Z3. We will likely also have time to go to dinner together afterwards and ask additional questions.
