AI Safety Atlanta is a community dedicated to exploring critical questions around artificial intelligence safety, with a strong emphasis on technical discussions. Our group dives into the latest research, examining advanced technical topics such as alignment, interpretability, robustness, and the broader societal impacts of AI systems. We welcome researchers, engineers, students, and anyone passionate about understanding and addressing the challenges of developing safe and beneficial AI technologies. AISxATL is aligned with the broader Effective Altruism movement, and we aim to facilitate action that reduces the most serious risks to humanity's long-term survival and flourishing.
