Discussion Rendezvous: Lethal Autonomous Weapons Systems

Details

Should we ban all the autonomous weapon systems? Or are those going to end all the human-involvement in wars?

The debate is real and discussed at the intergovernmental level. There is active research going on with the theme also in Turku, especially at the Departments of Philosophy and Future Technologies.

Our easygoing discussion event will present two opposite views to the matter: against and for lethal autonomous weapon systems. We will start with two short presentations based on scientific articles and continue with an open discussion.
